Dr. T. Ravinder Reddy is a higher education quality and institutional development professional whose journey began with NBA programme accreditation in 1998. Over the years, his work has expanded across NAAC accreditation, NIRF, UGC autonomous status, regulatory approvals, university status, faculty development, and international ranking workshops.
As CEO of International Institute of Quality Accreditation & Rankings (IIQA), he brings together academic expertise, legal knowledge, and practical institutional experience to help colleges and universities strengthen their systems, demonstrate quality, and pursue their development goals.
His Journey: From Programme Accreditation to Institutional Transformation
1998–2008: Building the Foundation in Accreditation
Dr. T. Ravinder Reddy began his Approval guidance in 1998 for Establishment of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sponsored by the Exhibition Society, Suryapet, then in Nalgonda district of undivided Andhra Pradesh and now in Telangana.
Through NBA mock audits, faculty training, and programme preparation, he helped programmes achieve accreditation under the framework applicable at that time The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) was established by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in 1994) under Section 10(u) of the AICTE Act. This initial assignment developed into a wider practice for NBA Programme Accreditation, extending his guidance to nearly 20 higher education institutions by 2008.
These early years established his approach: understand the institution, identify gaps, prepare faculty, organise evidence, and connect accreditation requirements with academic practice.
2009–2012: Strengthening Outcome-Based Education
As NBA transitioned towards outcome-based accreditation, Dr. T. Ravinder Reddy expanded his work in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and Washington Accord-aligned graduate outcomes.
His engagement during this period included 25+ OBE workshops, covering Course Outcome writing, Bloom’s Taxonomy, CO–PO articulation matrices, direct and indirect assessment, outcome attainment, IQAC CO-PO targets and outcome-based curricula.
He helped faculty teams move from documenting academic activities to assessing what students learn and using those findings to improve programme delivery.
2012–2013: Guiding Outcome-Based Accreditation Assignments
During 2012–2013, he guided QIS College of Engineering and Technology, Ongole, through the complete NBA accreditation process under the outcome-based framework. He also provided guidance to MVSR Engineering College, managed by Matrusri Education Society, Hyderabad.
From 2013 onwards, his work extended to nearly 30 institutions at different accreditation stages, including preparation under the SAR 2012 format and subsequent NBA Tier I and Tier II requirements.
