Request a readiness assessmentThe International Institute of Quality Accreditation & Rankings (IIQA) provides NBA accreditation advisory and consulting services across India. Based in Hyderabad, we support technical and professional education institutions with programme-wise preparation, academic implementation, documentation, and evaluation readiness. Programme preparation for NBA accreditation, including readiness assessment, NBA SAR preparation, CO–PO mapping, outcome-based education, evidence review and mock audit support. NBA consultancy services include SAR guidance, OBE workshops and mock audits aligned with the applicable NBA criteria, including NBA 4.0 requirements where relevant.
We work with institutional managements, principals, NBA coordinators, Heads of Departments, and faculty to develop a clear preparation plan for each proposed programme. Institutions can engage IIQA for the complete accreditation preparation journey or a focused assignment addressing a specific requirement.
Our services are led by Dr. T. Ravinder Reddy, whose programme accreditation experience began in 1998. His reported experience includes 1,000+ institutions supported and 1,500+ programmes achieving NBA accreditation under his guidance.
Discuss NBA preparationThe National Board of Accreditation (NBA) assesses eligible academic programmes against the applicable accreditation criteria. NBA accredits individual programmes, rather than an entire college or university as one unit.
Assessment examines academic processes, programme delivery, student learning outcomes, institutional support, and continuous improvement. Each proposed programme requires its own prescribed Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and supporting evidence.
NBA preparation brings together information maintained across departments, including:
NBA provides discipline- and level-specific accreditation documents and formats. Institutions must check the applicable requirements before preparing an application.
| Discipline | Programme levels or types covered by the relevant NBA documents |
|---|---|
| Engineering and Technology | Diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate engineering programmes |
| Architecture | Undergraduate and postgraduate architecture programmes |
| Computer Applications | MCA programmes |
| Pharmacy | Diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate pharmacy programmes |
| Management | Applicable management programmes |
| Hotel Management and Catering Technology | Applicable programmes in this discipline |
The availability of an accreditation format does not automatically establish programme eligibility. Regulatory approvals, programme history, graduating batches, and other applicable requirements must be reviewed.
IIQA begins with a programme-wise eligibility and readiness assessment, helping institutions identify the appropriate framework and the work required before submission.
IIQA provides guidance under the applicable undergraduate engineering accreditation frameworks.
For eligible universities, university departments, and academically autonomous institutions, IIQA supports:
For eligible non-autonomous colleges affiliated with a university, IIQA supports:
NBA accreditation provides an external assessment of an eligible programme against defined quality criteria.
Preparing for accreditation can help departments strengthen how they:
IIQA agrees on the scope of work after reviewing the proposed programmes, existing preparation, accreditation history, and target timeline.

IIQA’s services draw on Dr. T. Ravinder Reddy’s experience across evolving programme accreditation frameworks and institutional preparation requirements.
Based in Hyderabad, IIQA works with institutions across India and adapts its engagement to the programme, institution type, and preparation stage.
Each programme has its own faculty profile, academic data, OBE practices, and evidence. IIQA develops preparation plans around these specific requirements.
Institutions can receive assistance from eligibility assessment and readiness planning through SAR preparation, evaluation readiness, queries, appeals, and re-accreditation.
Gap reports, preparation roadmaps, evidence checklists, reviewed SAR material, and mock evaluation findings help management and faculty understand what needs to be completed next.
Our guidance addresses how outcomes are taught, assessed, measured, and improved, alongside the documentation needed to demonstrate those practices.
Dr. T. Ravinder Reddy’s L.L.M. in Constitutional Law and higher education appraisal experience support the interpretation of institutional responsibilities, regulatory requirements, queries, and appeal documentation.
IIQA also works in NAAC, ABET, NIRF, academic audits, workshops, and related institutional quality areas. Where useful, we help institutions coordinate shared data and review processes while following each framework’s specific requirements.
Whether your institution is preparing for its first NBA application, improving OBE practices, developing a SAR, addressing evaluation observations, or planning re-accreditation, IIQA provides guidance suited to your programme’s requirements.
